District 70 Endorsed Leadership Candidates 2024-2025

Candidate Showcase RECORDINGS

The District Leadership Committee completed their evaluations of the Candidates who nominated for a District 70 Leadership role for the term 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025 Toastmasters year. Call for nominations went out on 18 December 2023. The deadline for nominations was 1 March 2024 at 5:00pm.

All candidates are self-nominated and went through the DLC interview process. The DLC deliberated on Tuesday, 12 March 2024 and with a majority vote deemed the following candidates eligible and qualified for the role for which they nominated. The candidate evaluations were conducted in line with the District Administrative Bylaws (Article VII, Section d). The reporting of committee results is governed by (Article XI, Section b).

The DLC submitted the below listed candidates, listed by their role, then in alphabetical order.

One candidate had the qualifications, however, did not meet the eligibility requirements. All requirements and deadlines have been met by the DLC. However, as there are roles that do not have the minimum number of candidates nominated, the DLC Report is incomplete. Bradfield, Central, Lachlan and Southern Division roles are vacant. All other roles meet the minimum number of candidates for each role as per Protocol 9.0: District Campaigns and Elections.

Candidates have also reconfirmed their willingness to be nominated and commit to fulfill the duties of their office.

District 70 sincerely thanks the District Leadership Committee members for their work and frank discussions to ensure the candidates were eligible and qualified to meet the criteria to serve in the District leadership positions they nominated for. The DLC members comprise:
