[Bios will be placed on the website for Council to review.]1-17/3/2024 - Schedule a 30-minute interview with DLC Committee. Interviews can be scheduled earlier as soon as we receive the nomination forms.
17/3/2024 - Candidates will be advised by this date if they were successful. Upon approval by the District Executive Committee, the list of candidates will be published in the District 70 Reports and Agenda Book and on the website.
1/3/-13/4/2024 - Invitation to attend Division Contests (8) to display campaign materials and meet/greet members if available. [See ‘What’s On’ link]
27/4/2024 - Online Candidate Showcase (Q&As recorded & shared with Council) & to Confirm their intent to run.
4/5/2024 - Annual Council Meeting - District Leader Election for 2024-2025
Candidates in contested positions will be asked to give a short 2-minute speech to the District Council Members prior to the votes.5/5/2024 - Incoming 2024-2025 Team Meet & Greet at Annual Conference Event
June 2024 (TBA) - District Executive Committee Handover Weekend Meeting
June/July 2024 (TBA) - Training Bootcamp Weekend.

Floor Candidates must submit their forms and intent to run from the floor for any elective role at least seven (7) days prior to the election.
Floor Candidates must also have been interviewed by the DLC Committee.
Campaign restrictions also apply.
