It gave me great pleasure to present the District 70 Community and Leadership Award for 2020-2021 to Neil Robinson, the CEO of ‘A Start in Life’.

This registered charity has more than 97 years’ experience in supporting young Australians in need to access an education as an equal with their peers. They work to improve the educational outcomes of disadvantaged children and youth so that they may rise above their circumstances and reach their full potential. They have helped children from their primary school years until the completion of their tertiary studies.

Neil accepted the Award on behalf of himself and his team. Congratulations again to Neil and his team at a ‘Start in Life’.
